2. The petitioner seeks bail Brahmpur P. S. Case No. 719 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Section 376 of the IPC and Section-4 of the POCSO Act.

3. Allegedly, the petitioner enticed away the minor daughter of the informant aged about four years and having taken her to a lonelysome house, committed wrong with her.

4. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is a person of clean antecedent. The petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case due to village politics and he is in custody since 08-12-2023.

5. It is a case of heinous crime, in which, a four years minor girl was ravished. In paragraph-6 of the case diary as well as in her statement recorded under Section-164 of the Cr.P.C., the victim has fully supported the case of the prosecution.

6. Considering the gravity and heinous nature of offence, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly, it is rejected.
