The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise Case No. 371 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Sections 30(a), 32(2), 56(d) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

16.5 litres of Indian Made Foreign Liquor and 6 litres of beer are said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 14.09.2017 and does not bear any criminal antecedent.

Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The petitioner, above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten
