The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Arer P.S. Case No. 123/2014, registered for the offences punishable under Section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code. There is a specific allegation against the petitioner that he assaulted Ismail with Pharsa on his head and Md. Sufayan assaulted with sword. Two injuries were found on the head of the Ismail and both the injuries are opined to be grievous in nature. Considering the fact that the injuries are grievous in nature, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
