2. The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 01-10-2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 65620 of 2024, by which the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail in connection with Sikandra P.S. Case No. 417 of 2023, pending in the Court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui, and the petitioner was directed to surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks and furnish bail bonds.
3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was out of station to earn his livelihood and, therefore, he could not surrender in the learned court below
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20491 of 2025(2) dt.11-04-2025 2/2 within the stipulated time on account of reasons beyond his control. It is further submitted that further time may be extended so that the petitioner may surrender in the learned court below and furnish bail bonds.
4.Considering the submissions made on behalf of learned counsel for the petitioner and the grounds mentioned in the modification application, the period for surrender of the petitioner in the learned court below is extended for a further period of four weeks from today. The rest of the conditions stipulated in the order will be the same.
5. The order dated 01-10-2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 65620 of 2024, is modified to the extent as indicated above.
