No. 170 of 2016, dated 31.10.2016, registered at Police Station Bhargama under Section 304(B), 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Learned counsel for the State vehemently opposes the present application. He, however, clarifies that during trial, prosecution shall not take any unnecessary adjournment and ensure, insofar as possible, that witnesses would be examined on the date fixed by the trial court.
