2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is not satisfied by the excuse, which has been taken by the university for non-payment of retiral dues to which the petitioner is entitled. The petitioner had retired on 31.12.2021 and some of the employees of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.4837 of 2023 dt.12-09-2023 2/2 university, who have retired after the petitioner, have been paid their retiral benefits.

Considering the specific statement made by the petitioner that the officers of the university are complicating the cases of retired employees of the university by their callous attitude to deny the benefit, the Registrar of the university is directed to ensure to make payment of all the retiral dues as claimed in the present writ petition within a period of 15 days from the date of passing of this order, failing which the petitioner may take appropriate legal action against the Vice Chancellor and Registrar of the university.

4. With the above observations and directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
