The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case under Section 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant, father of the deceased, made allegation that his daughter, who was married with Kamlesh Kumar Singh only five months ago, was done to death due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased and she was suffering from different ailments. The daughter of the informant committed suicide. The husband is in jail.

It appears that the daughter of informant was done to death within five months of her marriage. Ligature mark was

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

If the petitioner surrenders in the court below and prays for regular bail, the court below shall consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner on merits without being prejudiced by this order.
