Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act.

A country made loaded pistol and cartridges were allegedly recovered from possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 25.09.2018. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent and the police has wrongly mentioned in paragraph-61 of the case diary that the petitioner is accused in Nagar (Begusarai Town) P.S.Case No.585 of 2018. The said case is present case itself. Considering the period already undergone by the petitioner and completion of investigation, let the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20439 of 2019(2) dt.01-05-2019 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Nagar (Begusarai Town) P.S.Case No.585 of 2018, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
