Case No. 100 of 2020 dated 05.02.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323 and 354 of the Indian Penal Code and 37(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018.

The accusation against the petitioner is of misbehaving and assaulting the informant in an intoxicated state.

It has been urged that the accusation is absolutely false and is motivated.

The petitioner does not have any criminal antecedents and is in custody since 06.02.2020.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16560 of 2020(2) dt.13-05-2020 2/2 Regard being had to the nature of accusation and the period of custody, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Banka in connection with Banka P. S. Case No. 100 of 2020.
