Petitioner, already in custody since 8.9.2017, seeks bail in Madhepura PS Case No. 294 of 2017 registered under Sections 304B/34 of the IPC.

The allegation in brief is that within a year of the marriage the petitioner killed his wife as demand of dowry was not fulfilled. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that wife of the petitioner died during treatment, the allegation of making demand of dowry and killing his wife is false.

Whereas learned Counsel for the State submits that within a year of the marriage the petitioner killed his wife and the post mortem report indicates that she died due to throttling. Having considered the said facts and circumstances, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Arun Kumar, J.) Snkumar/- U T
