Patna High Court CWJC No.4303 of 2016 dt.05-04-2018 2/3 The matter pertains to grant of recognition to T.N.B. Law College, Bhagalpur, Patna Law College, Patna and Law Faculty College of Commerce, Patna, Bihar.

Inter alia contending that all these colleges are functioning without proper approval and sanction from the Bar Council of India in violation to the statutory provision, this Public Interest Litigation petition has been filed.

From the additional counter affidavit filed on behalf of the Bar Council of India on 5.2.2015, we find that the Bar Council of India was seized of the matter, certain proceedings have been held and from the additional counter affidavit filed on behalf of the Bar Council of India on 5.2.2018, it is seen that conditional recommendation has been granted for the period 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 on various conditions as are stipulated in the order issued.

As the Bar Council of India is already seized of the matter and has granted conditional recommendation, it is not necessary for us to interfere now in this Public Interest Litigation exercising our extraordinary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

In case the petitioner has any objection with regard to grant of recognition, he may file an appropriate representation to

With the aforesaid, finding no indulgence to be granted, we dispose of the present application.
