2. This writ petition has been filed for quashing the Memo No. C/DR-I/12384A/22 dated 11.03.2022 (Annexure-10) with respect to the petitioner whereby promotion granted to the petitioner to Class-III post has been cancelled.

3. At the outset, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 3 to 5, by filing supplementary counter affidavit, in paragraph No. 4, submits that the petitioner has already been reinstated to his original post i.e. Lower Division Clerk with effect from 27.09.2016 vide Memo No. C/DR-I/13230-41/24 dated

Patna High Court CWJC No.5319 of 2022(10) dt.13-11-2024 2/2 13.07.2024 (Annexure-R/1 to the supplementary counter affidavit) as such, instant writ application has become infructuous.

4. In view of the submission made on behalf of respondent Nos. 3 to 5, this writ application stands disposed of.

5. However, it is made clear that all the consequential benefits pursuant to the Annexure-R/1 to the supplementary counter affidavit must be paid to the petitioner as soon as possible, if not paid.
