This application for regular bail arises out of Chandi P.S. Case No. 383 of 2019, disclosing offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant, as per the FIR, runs a jewellery shop. On the alleged date of occurrence, when he was returning back to his home from the shop with some cash and jewellery, four miscreants riding in two motorcycle intercepted the informant and snatched from him the cash and other valuables. The FIR was registered against unknown. It appears that on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused, name of the petitioner has surfaced, who has also said to have made his confessional statement before the police. It has been pointed out that though

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16102 of 2020(2) dt.02-06-2020 2/2 the petitioner is in custody since 26.01.2020, till date he has not been put on T.I. Parade and similarly circumstanced co-accused Amit Kumar has been allowed regular bail by the court below. The said Amit Kumar is also said to have given his confessional statement before the police.

Considering the facts and circumstances noted above, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount, each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate/ Successor Court, Hilsa, Nalanda in Chandi P.S. Case No. 383 of 2019.
