Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mufasil P.S. Case No. 463 of 2015 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of Arms Act.

Taking note of this fact that petitioner and one Amit Paswan are said to have opened fire on one Dipak Kumar and also keeping in mind that petitioner approached the court after five years of registration of the first information report, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to petitioner and accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail stands rejected.
