2 This writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:

"(i) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing Respondent No 3 to forward the "Application of Form "Gha" dated 24.02.2026 (Annexure P/4) for transfer of license on sale bearing License No 83 of 1995 to the State Level Committee in terms of Rule 7 of the Bihar Wood Based Industries (Establishment & Regulation) Rules, 2025.

(ii) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the SLC (Respondent No 2) to grant approval for transfer of license on the basis of sale as the petitioner has already filed an application in Form "Gha" for transfer of license on sale before the Licensing Officer on 24.02.2026 under the Bihar Wood Based Industries

(iii) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent Authorities not to interfere with the operation of saw mill of the petitioner in the facts and circumstances of this case.

(iv) For issuance of other writ (s), order (s), direction (s) as Your Lordships may deem fit and roper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

3 Learned counsel for the petitioner has come with limited prayer to direct Respondent No 3, The Licensing Officer -cum- Divisional Forest Officer, Tirhut Division, Muzaffarpur to take decision on his representation filed earlier. 4 Learned State Counsel submits that a fresh representation will be much better inasmuch there is no receipt of the aforesaid representation.

5 In that background, the writ petition is disposed of allowing the petitioner to approach the concerned authority, i e, The Licensing Officer -cum- Divisional Forest Officer, Tirhut Forest Division, Muzaffarpur (Respondent No 3) so that an appropriate order can be passed in the matter.
