2. The petitioner in paragraph no. 1 of the present writ petition has sought inter alia following relief(s), which is reproduced hereinafter:- "The petitioner above named prays for issuance of appropriate order/orders, direction/directions, writ/writs, preferably in the nature of Mandamus,

Patna High Court CWJC No.6256 of 2025(2) dt.17-04-2025 2/2 commanding and directing the respondent authority concerned to make payment of differential salary due since August, 2003 (27.07.2003) to December, 2015 accrued on account of promotion of the petitioner to the post of Reader vide Notification dated 28.01.2019 (Annexure P/4) issued under the signature of Registrar of B.N. Mandal University but his differential salary of the said promotion has not been paid to him till date without there being any valid and cogent reason. Any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is found to be entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case."

3. Considering the specific prayer made in the present writ petition, the petitioner, if so advised, may approach the Registrar of the University for payment of all the admitted dues.

4. The Registrar of the University will ensure payment of all the admitted dues of the petitioner, as prayed for in the present writ petition, within a period of three weeks from the date of passing of the order without fail.

5. With the above observation, the present writ petition stands allowed.
