2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs- "(i) To direct the respondent authorities to provide adequate issuance of renewal P.S.D. shop licence in Kamrail Panchayat P.S. Marauna, District Supaul. (ii) To direct the respondent authorities to issue the renewal licence of P.D.S. Shop of the petitioner, which who is the disease and unfortunately not filed application for renewal P.D.S. Shop licence in meantime and thereafter he has good health and filed application for issue P.D.S. Licence.

(iii) Any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is entitled."

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it will suffice if the petitioner's representation dated 12.01.2016 (Annexure-1) filed before the District Magistrate, Supaul (Respondent No. 3) is directed to be disposed of, in which event, the present writ petition need not be pressed on merits.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents appear and have been heard. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondent-Corporation.

4. Having regard to the nature of the grievances and the stand of the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Supaul (Respondent No. 3) to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 12.01.2016 (Annexure-1), if the same is still pending before him, after grant of opportunity of hearing to the petitioner in accordance with law, expeditiously, and preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this judgment.
