The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Atri P.S. Case No. 201/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Section(s) 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30(a) (d) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Allegation is of recovery of 200 litres of Mahua wine. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that name of petitioner has come in this case on the basis of statement of Chowkidar. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of this petitioner. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Similarly situated co-accused have been granted anticipatory bail by a Coordinate Bench of this court vide order dated 20.08.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 50827/2018.
