2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Katihar Muffasil P.S. Case No. 105 of 2021 registered for the offence under Section 406, 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner has cheated Rs. 12,00,000/- (Twelve Lakhs) from the informant.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 28.10.2024.

5. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the State that the petitioner has taken the alleged amount for the transfer of land for the same has not been done by the petitioner. He further submits that on earlier occasion, the learned counsel for the petitioner has taken adjournment in this case to seek instruction in this matter from the petitioner as to whether he is

6. Considering the fact that the petitioner has cheated the informant of such a huge amount, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
