2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Jagdishpur P.S. Case No. 421/2022 lodged on 25.08.2022 under Section 489(a), 489d, 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, F.I.R. has been lodged against three named accused persons including the present petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel also submits that the bail application of the petitioner has been rejected earlier vide order dated 03.05.2023 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 03.05.2023 passed in Cr. Misc No. 8538 of 2023 against whom there is an allegation that they were involved in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20980 of 2024(3) dt.08-05-2024 2/3 offence of keeping fake notes with a view to make forgery at a person at large. Counsel further submits that his bail application was rejected and trial Court was directed to expedite the trial within nine months. He submits that nine months has already been lapsed and on earlier occasion status report of this case has been called for. Upon perusal of the report, it transpires that charge has been framed and two witnesses have been examined. Counsel for the petitioner also submits that out of three named persons, two named accused persons have been granted bail vide order dated 16.08.2023 in Cr. Misc. No. 18025 of 2023 and vide order dated 31.07.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 223 of 2023.

5. Counsel further submits that the criminal antecedent of the petitioner is clean. The petitioner is in custody since 26.08.2022.
