Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Bettiah (T) P.S. Case No.493 of 2017, registered under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation in brief is that the petitioner along with another co-accused killed her husband, son of the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is alleged that the wife and husband quarreled and thereafter the husband committed suicide and police after investigation has submitted charge-sheet under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code and it is not a case of homicide.

Having considered the said facts and circumstances, petitioner Anajana Devi @ Anjana Devi is directed to be released

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54855 of 2017 (3) dt.23-01-2018 2 /2 on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Bettiah (T) P.S. Case No.493 of 2017.
