The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Kharagpur P.S. Case No. 327 of 2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 30 and 32 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 6.7 litres of illicit liquor from the motorcycle said to have been abandoned by the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner have a clean antecedent. It is submitted that the petitioners are in custody since 01.12.2017.

Considering the nature of accusation, the period of

No.63117 of 2017 (2) dt.17-01-2018 2/2 custody already undergone and the fact that the petitioners are having a clean antecedent, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioners above named on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge (Excise), Munger in connection with Kharagpur P.S. Case No. 327 of 2017.
