The petitioner seeks bail in Bettiah Town P.S. Case No. 413/2018, instituted for the offences under Sections 387 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged in the written report that while the informant was at his house, he received a phone call, by which demand of ransom of Rs. 10 lacs was made. It is alleged that the caller was Bhagina of informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is own Bhagina of informant. There is land dispute between the parties. The petitioner has clean antecedent. He is in custody since 04.07.2018.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Bettiah Town P.S.
