JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 22-10-2024 Though the present writ petition has been filed for quashing the order dated 12.07.2021 passed by the Commissioner, Tirhut Division, Muzaffarpur, whereby and whereunder the appeal filed by the petitioner bearing Arms Appeal No. 67 of 2019 has stood dismissed and the learned Commissioner has declined to interfere with the order of the Collector, Vaishali, suspending the arms license of the petitioner on account of pendency of six criminal cases qua him, however, at the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur for revocation of the suspension of his arms

Patna High Court CWJC No.5344 of 2022(4) dt.22-10-2024 2/2 license after acquittal in all the criminal cases pending qua him, nonetheless, seeks a direction upon the District Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur to ensure that the rifle of the petitioner is deposited at the police maalkhana or with the Arms Dealer, for which purpose the petitioner shall approach the office of the learned Collector, Vaishali at Hajipur within a period of two weeks from today. It is directed accordingly. 2.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
