2. The petitioners are named in the F.I.R. and apprehending their arrest in connection with Sarmera P.S. Case No. 224 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 80(2), 123, 238, 3(5) of BNS.
3. As per FIR, the sister of informant committed suicide in her matrimonial home, where she was tortured mentally and physically due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry as raised from cash of Rs. 5 lakh and golden chain. Petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased.

It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners that petitioners are in-laws of the deceased sister of the informant and they are living separately much before the occurrence with their younger son namely, Praveen Kumar @ Praveen Pandit and thus having no connection with daily and domestic affairs with deceased and her husband. It is submitted that in support of aforesaid submission learned counsel referred the Annexure-P/2 series of the petition, which is partition settlement approved by office of the Gram Kachahari Dhunki, Sarmera, Nalanda. While concluding arguments, it is submitted that the allegation of alleged cruelty as committed upon the deceased sister of the informant appears very much general and omnibus in nature qua petitioners.
5. Learned APP duly assisted by learned counsel appearing for the informant, Mr. Rajnish Kumar, submitted while opposing the prayer of bail that petitioners being in-laws played active role during the

In view of aforesaid factual and by taking note of the fact as petitioners are in-laws and appears prima-facie living separately in terms of Annexure-P/2 from deceased and her husband, negating that they have no connection with daily and domestic affairs of deceased and her husband, accordingly both above-named petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks, are directed to be released on bail, furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Nalanda, Biharsharif /concerned Court, where the case is pending in connection with Sarmera P.S. Case No. 224 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of BNSS.
