The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 363/366/376 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 6/8 of the POCSO Act in connection with Special Case No.147 of 2018, arising out of Shastrinagar P.S. Case No.475 of 2018.

The report of the trial Judge dated 18.03.2021 would reveal that the trial is likely to be concluded in next two months. This is a case under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code as well as under the POCSO Act.

Earlier prayer for bail was refused on 30.04.2019 in Cr. Misc. No.9002 of 2019.

Considering the report of the trial Judge that trial is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20002 of 2020(3) dt.24-03-2021 2/2 likely to be concluded within two months, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail for the present. Hence, the prayer for bail is refused. The petitioner may renew the prayer for bail if the trial is not concluded within six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
