The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Brahmpur P.S. Case No. 52 of 2017 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of Arms Act.

Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 19.09.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 32046 of 2023 with an observation to learned trial court to conclude the trial expeditiously.

No.21172 of 2024(3) dt.26-04-2024 2/2 In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a report, dated 19.03.2024, with regard to present stage of trial has been received and the same is kept at flag 'R'. From its perusal it appears that the trial is likely to be concluded within six months.

No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for grant of regular bail is rejected.

Accordingly, petition stands disposed off.

However, learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within stipulated period ie. 6 months., failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer of bail. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) Nirajkrs/- U T
