JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 21-08-2018 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the present only relief no. (ii) in Paragraph 1 of the writ application is required to be pressed. Relief No. (ii) seeks a direction to the respondents 1st set to provide security to the life and property of the petitioner and his other family members. Nothing has been brought on record to show that the petitioner has filed an appropriate application before the Competent Authority/Committee in terms of the Scheme of the Government
Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.1121 of 2016 (2) dt.21-08-2018 for purpose of consideration of applications seeking security on the ground of threat perception. This Court would observe that in case the petitioner submits an appropriate application with the Committee in seisin of such matters where the applications seeking security on the ground of threat perception is being considered in terms of the Scheme of the Government, the same shall be considered and will be disposed off by the Committee within a period of three months from the date of submission of the application.
