2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 342, 385, 387, 379, 323, 332, 353, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. On 03.01.2024, on a secret information that some naxalites, who are demanding ransom from contractors, are hiding in Neudhi village, the informant and other police personnel proceeded to nab them, but the villagers became aggressive and started assaulting police party whereupon one co-accused Ajay Singh @ Sardar Singh, after firing, fled away from village and his supporters made the police team captive.
