The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 457/2017 dated 13.07.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(A)(d) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

75 litres of country made liquor was allegedly recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and that the seizure shown by the police is only a sham.

The petitioner is in custody since 16.09.2017 and has not been made accused in any case so far.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioner above

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55570 of 2017 (2) dt.30-11-2017 2/2 named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge II, Jehanabad in connection with Jahanabad P.S. Case No. 457/2017.
