JUSTICE MIHIR KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 03-09-2015 Having regard to the fact that the petitioner had made a mis-statement, if not a false statement, with regard to criminal antecedent, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail by modifying its earlier order. This application for modification is, accordingly, rejected.

It is, however, made clear that if the petitioner surrenders and makes a prayer for regular bail, the same shall be disposed of on its own merits without being prejudiced by anything said in this order.
