Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 341, 323, 324, 307, 504 and 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner, allegedly, caused injury with rod at the head of Uday Mehta. The Doctor has found grievous injury. Submission is that there is no allegation of repetition of blow. The petitioner is in custody since 30.08.2017. The investigation is already complete and the petitioner is ready to cooperate with the trial.

Learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the nature of allegation and period

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.62574 of 2017 (3) dt.08-03-2018 2/2 already undergone, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Bakhtiyarpur Police Station Case No. 239 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
