The petitioner, who is in custody since 15.10.2019, seeks bail in connection with Giriyak P. S. Case No. 346 of 2019 dated 02.10.2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 25(1-b)a and 26 of the Arms Act, 1959.

One loaded country-made pistol and few cartridges are said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

It has been submitted that the petitioner is a

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16583 of 2020(2) dt.02-06-2020 2/2 businessman of the area and was maliciously arrested because of local politics.

Considering the nature of accusation against the petitioner and his period of custody, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate 1st, Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Giriyak P. S. Case No. 346 of 2019.
