1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Chandra Bhushan Prasad, learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 127(2), 308(5), 117(2), 109, 303(2) and 3(5) of the BNS.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has antecedent of two cases and the informant alleges that while he stopped his motorcycle to attend the call of nature when his named villagers including the petitioner intercepted him and demanded extortion. On objection, Sandeep Kumar assaulted the informant by butt of pistol on his head causing injury. Thereafter, Sravan Kumar @ Chotu threatened him with pistol on which the informant gave Rs.1900/- to Ankit Kumar and all the accused assaulted him by lathi and danda.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that from perusal of the allegation as alleged in the FIR, it would manifest that the allegation against this petitioner is general and omnibus in nature. It is further submitted that specific allegation of assaulting the informant by butt of pistol is against Sandeep Kumar. It is next submitted that brother of petitioner was murdered for which Nowkothi P.S. Case No. 98 of 2018 was instituted. It is also submitted that the accused of Nawkothi P.S. Case No. 98 of 2018 got the petitioner implicated in the instant case in order to coerce him into submission with ornamental allegation. It is submitted that it does not appear probable that petitioner being known to the informant would have indulged in the occurrence.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.
6. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, let the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees One Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the
