2. The petitioner is in custody since 24.10.2018 in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 386/2018/630/2019 for the alleged offences under Sections 56(b) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 as well as Section 20(b) of the NDPS Act, 1985.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in connection with recovery of 29.600 kg of Ganja from a vehicle in which the petitioner was travelling along with other persons. It is submitted that the vehicle in question does not belong to the petitioner nor recovery has been made from his possession. The petitioner claims clean antecedents.

4. Learned APP appears and opposes the petition

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16303 of 2020(2) dt.14-05-2020 2/2 submitting that commercial quantity of Ganja has been recovered from a Toyota Corolla vehicle in which the petitioner was travelling.

5. Having regard to the nature of accusations and gravity of offence alleged, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of a bail to the petitioner. The petition stands dismissed. Chandran/- (Vikash Jain, J) U T
