The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 302, 149, 342, 450, 376, 201 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and sections 4 and 5 of the POCSO Act.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide orders dated 21.2.2022 (Annexure-1) giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge. Referring to Annexure-4 series to the supplementary affidavit, it is submitted that by order dated 28.9.2021 charges has been framed against this petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 2.2.2021 and there is no chance of the trial concluding in the

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the liberty granted to the petitioner vide aforesaid order dated 21.2.2022, the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year and charges having been framed in learned trial court, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with P.Tr. no. 66 of 2021 (arising out of Kundwa Chainpur P.S. Case no. 21 of 2021) on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 6th Addl. Sessions Judge - cum - Special Judge POCSO, Motihari, East Champaran.
