The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Shahkund (Sajour) P.S. Case No. 218 of 2017 dated 16.09.2017 instituted for the offence under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Around thirty five litres of country made liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 18.09.2017 and does not bear criminal antecedent.

Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The petitioner, above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56456 of 2017 (2) dt.05-12-2017 2/2 thousand) with sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Bhagalpur in connection with Shahkund (Sajour) P.S. Case No. 218 of 2017.
