Petitioner being husband of the informant is languishing in jail custody since 4.5.2016 in a case registered under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and 3/ 4 of the D.P. Act. Marriage of the informant with petitioner was solemnized for years ago and one and half year, informant spent her married life peacefully at her matrimonial home but according to the informant, after that problem started and it is alleged that the petitioner demanded gold in dowry and due to non-fulfillment of the aforesaid demand, he put the informant into cruelty in various ways. The contention on behalf of the petitioner is that petitioner is still ready to keep the informant with full honour and dignity and when the informant was not allowed to go to her parental home due to some reasons, she lodged this case against the petitioner.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25293 of 2016 (3) dt.20-06-2016 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub divisional Magistrate, Begusarai in Sahebpur Kamal P.S. Case no. 65/2016.
