Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 302 and other minor sections of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 (2) (v) of S.C./S.T. (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Petitioners are named in the first information report and prosecution claims that petitioners and several other F.I.R. named accused assaulted the informant's mother by means of lathi as a result of which, she died.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioners be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Birpur, Supaul in connection with Birpur P.S.
