Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 394 of the Indian Penal Code.
The name of the petitioner came in this case in the confessional statement of co- accused and after that he was arrested and allegedly, one old silver Payal as well as one old silver Jhumka were recovered from the house of the petitioner. Submission on behalf of the petitioner is that seized ornaments belong to wife of the petitioner and, as a matter of fact, except criminal antecedent as well as confessional statements, there is nothing against him. It is further submitted that petitioner is in jail custody since 28.3.2016 and till date he has not been put on T.I. Parade.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26425 of 2016 (5) dt.09-09-2016 2/2 submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate II, Bettiah District West Champaran in Jogapatti P.S. Case no. 275/2015.
