JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 17-01-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
Again, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail taking note of the material available against him on the case diary and hence, his prayer for bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 646 of 2017 arising out of Naubatpur P.S. Case No. 712 of 2015 pending in the court of Additional Sessions Judge-I, Danapur stands rejected.
However, the concerned court must expedite the trial of the petitioner and try to conclude the same as early as possibly,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3203 of 2018 (2) dt.17-01-2018 2/2 preferably within nine months from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
