The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

There is recovery of 108 litres of illicit liquor from the motorcycle of co-accused Vishal Kumar who confessed that the aforesaid consignment of illicit liquor was being carried to hand over the petitioner Vidyawati Devi and Pappu Singh.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and she has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18464 of 2025(2) dt.18-04-2025 2/2 from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner has no concern either with the seized vehicle or the illicit liquor or the apprehended accused. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousands) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise Court-I, Siwan in connection with Mairwa P.S.
