The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.
It is alleged that this petitioner fraudulently sold the ancestral land of the informant to other co-accused persons on a consideration amount of Rs. 1,50,000/-.
It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Both parties are pattidars and residents of same village. Till date, partition has not taken place. Moreover, petitioner is ready to deposit the consideration money of Rs. 1,50,000/- (one lac fifty thousand) to the informant. It is lastly submitted that at present, petitioner
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21790 of 2023(2) dt.06-07-2023 2/2 is labourer and suffering from various old-aged disease. Dispute is purely of a civil nature. Petitioner has got clean antecedent. Learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, let the above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Bettia (West Champaran) in connection with Shikarpur P.S.
