The case relates to smuggling of arms. The name of the petitioner appeared in confession of the lady accused from whom recoveries were made as per the First Information Report. Submission was that except the confession, there was no material against the petitioner.

This Court does not see any reason to grant anticipatory bail to a person whose name has appeared in confession of a main accused in arms smuggling case.

The prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is dismissed in connection with Jamalpur Rail P.S. Case No. 20 of 2013, pending before the learned Rail Magistrate, Keul. Let the petitioner surrender and pray for regular bail. (Dharnidhar Jha, J.) Sanjay/- U T
