Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 364A/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Taking into consideration that name of petitioner transpired in the statement of P.S. Ravinath, who was made captive by the culprits, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail and hence, his prayer for bail in connection with Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case No. 40 of 2016 pending in the court of Mrs. Supriya Goswami, Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Patna stands rejected.
