JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 12-10-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Incharge learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Sri Ram Priya Sharan Singh for the State through video conferencing. Petitioner is in jail custody since 5.6.2018 in connection with Laxmipur P.S. Case No. 180/2009 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

From perusal of the impugned order, I find that petitioner was granted bail by the learned court below but failed to furnish bail bonds and, in the meantime, in the year 2014, the petitioner fled away from court Hajat and, thereafter, he could be remanded in this case on 5.6.2018. The supplementary affidavit filed on behalf of the petitioner goes to show that the petitioner does have criminal antecedents of near about 19 cases.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20575 of 2020(6) dt.12-10-2020 2/2 Considering aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as conduct of the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
