The petitioner being the husband of the victim is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Accusation is of killing the sister of the informant within few months of the marriage for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. The sister of informant went missing on 17.01.2014. The informant on receiving the information at 9.00 A.M. on the same day, went to the petitioner's house and on 18.11.2014 the dead body was recovered from a well. The post-mortem reflects the death due to asphyxia and drowning.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that apparently it appears that the victim

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24842 of 2015 (2) dt.08-07-2015 committed suicide.

Considering the nature of accusation, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Sona Charkapathar P.S. Case No. 176 of 2014, pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui.

Accordingly, this anticipatory bail application stands rejected.
