Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State informs that counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondents no.2 and 3 in CWJC No.6635 of 2020, in which it has been informed in paragraphs no.14 that a sum of Rs.176,08,25,780 and Rs.630,13,93,432/- has already been released and out of the said required sanctioned amount has been credited into the University's account, which has been earmarked for payment of dues to be paid to its employees.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State further informs that counter affidavit has also been filed on behalf of the respondent no.2 in CWJC No.3215 of 2021 in which it has been informed in paragraph no.8 that University has stated that admitted dues of the petitioner has been calculated and has been sent to the pay verification cell and as soon as the Pay Verification Cell recommends for making payment, the State Government will release the amount payable to the petitioner.

4. In view of the development and information given

Patna High Court CWJC No.6635 of 2020(5) dt.15-04-2025 3/3 on behalf of the State contained in its counter affidavits, the Registrar of the University and its Finance Officer are directed to take steps for payment of entire dues to the petitioners to which the petitioners are entitled for in accordance with law, without fail, within a period of three weeks.

5. In case, the petitioners' grievance is not redressed on any account which is not acceptable, the petitioners are at liberty to take appropriate legal action against concerned officer of the University, who is/are responsible for the same.

6. The Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Government of Bihar is requested to inform the Vice Chancellor of the University not to delay in making payment of financial admissible dues to its employees, so that the payment of the petitioners be made forthwith.

7. The present writ petitions, accordingly, stand disposed of.

8. Interlocutory application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
