The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 326(B), 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation is that the petitioner threw acid on the victim while she was going to market and sustained grievous injury. The earlier bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide Annexure 1 to the present application.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 6.3.2018 and has got no criminal antecedent. The petitioner has remained in custody for more than one year. The petitioner has not been apprehended on the spot. For oblique reason the present case has been instituted.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna in connection with Kotwali P.S. case No.134 of 2018.
