The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 341, 354/34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3(i)(xi) of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Prosecution case is that the petitioner tried to outrage the modesty of the daughter of the informant. When the aunt and sister of the informant reached on the spot, then the petitioners taking the advantage of darkness fled away.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that in the background of Panchayat Election dispute the accusation has been levelled. Learned counsel for the petitioners has filed certified copy of the order dated 15.6.2016 from which it

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25450 of 2016 (2) dt.23-06-2016 appears that a compromise petition has been filed on behalf of the parties, which is being kept on record. Statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the application that the petitioners have no criminal antecedent.

In view of the fact that a compromise petition has been filed on behalf of the parties, let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioners, if the petitioners surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Dhansoi P.S.Case No. 60/2016 pending in the court of Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Buxar.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is disposed of.
